Mixing Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Picpoul and Roussanne in equal proportions, the 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc shows well. Vivid spring blossom aromas complement yellow apple, ripe pear and cedar tones. Full-bodied and rich, the 2023 is seamlessly balanced by fresh acidity. It finishes with good length on the fruit-driven close.

The 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is derived from vines planted on pebble, limestone and brown soils. Revealing a shy, closed bouquet, it offers up aromas of white flowers and lemon. Medium-bodied, fresh and juicy, it's a bit austere in the finish. Composed of equal parts Grenache Blanc, Picpoul Blanc, Bourboulenc, Roussanne and Clairette, it's matured for six months in a combination of wooden tanks (12%), large barrels (3%), new barrels (2%), used barrels (6%) and egg-shaped tanks (7%); the rest is in stainless steel.
