The nose is rich, with sweet oak spice enveloping dark cherries, pomegranate, orange zest, and a deep crush of violets-utterly pleasing. The palate is textured with round tannins. Vibrant acidity leaves behind traces of soft black cherry, mushroom, black peppercorn and black tea along the finish. Approachable now with aeration, it starts to reveal its layers.
