Domaine Carneros Brut 2021

Generous aromas of lemon zest, red apples, orange zest and brioche. The palate is medium-bodied with bright acidity and a finely beaded mousse. Very well balanced and refined, with a mineral edge. Made from 51% chardonnay and 49% pinot noir with 9 g/L dosage. Disgorged after 36 months on tirage. Drink now.

A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the 2021 Estate Brut looks to have about the same dosage as the preceding vintages, around nine grams per liter. It's a pale, biscuity-scented offering that is redolent of citrus and green apple on the nose. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a clean, refreshing finish.
