Join us for a special in-store tasting featuring Alessandro Pecorari, winemaker of the renowned family estate Pierpaolo Pecorari.

Alessandro will be personally pouring a selection of the estate’s wines and sharing the story behind this extraordinary Friulian producer.

🌿 About the Winery

The estate is a classic Friuli farm located on the Micro Terrazzo plateau in the Isonzo DOC — just 9 miles from the Adriatic Sea and 15 miles south of the Julian Alps.

Founded over 40 years ago, when Pierpaolo planted his first vineyard of Malvasia overlooking the right bank of the Isonzo River, the winery remains family-run today by Pierpaolo, his wife Alba, and their son Alessandro.

The vineyards are cultivated naturally and traditionally:

- No chemicals

- No herbicides

- Sustainable farming practices

The poor, stony, mineral-rich soils — formed during the Quaternary period from melting glaciers — are often described as “Soil of the Gods.”

While the exact lineup is still being finalized, we have proudly featured many of Pierpaolo Pecorari’s wines in recent tastings — and this is a rare opportunity to taste them with the winemaker himself.
