Tempranillo grown on the high plateau of Ribera del Duero tends toward density and structure, a product of hot days and cool nights that lets the grape hold onto its acidity while building depth. This is Aalto's 2023 bottling from that Castilla y León appellation, a red built in the region's darker, more concentrated register, where Tempranillo (known locally as Tinto Fino) leans on ripe black fruit and firm tannin rather than delicacy.
