The 2025 Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc is herbal and grassy, with crushed shells, coriander leaves, lemon zest and brine. In the mouth, the wine is spicy, loaded with flavor and distinctly Awatere in character. This is an excellent wine. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. (Wine Advocate, April 2026)

Tender and harmonious, the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc Awatere Valley has a restrained and attractive nose of elderflowers, passion fruit, fennel and ripe lemon. It is well-balanced and moreish with understated aromatics and texture. This big vintage perhaps does not deliver as much concentration as in previous years, but it's clearly well made.
