The fruit profile is mostly savory, not sweet, although there are slightly candied aromas with grenadine or blackberry syrupy. The tannins are tame, and you get enough richness and texture to pair with the little lamb brochettes loved in Basilicata's local cuisine. This is a 180,000-bottle release.
