Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel is a rosé from Provence's Côtes de Provence appellation, made from a Southern Rhone red blend and released as the 2025 vintage. Despite its delicate color, this is a wine built for contemplation rather than casual sipping.
The nose opens with a fragrant, mineral quality, pink cherry pits, peach skin, and cherry blossoms combine into something both floral and fruit-forward. On the palate, it shows medium body and fresh acidity that feels round rather than sharp, with enough texture to hold your attention through the finish. The wine displays an elegant purity that lingers without heaviness. This is a rosé that rewards patience; it will develop further complexity over the next couple of years.
