Apple brandy from the Normandy region of France, this calvados comes from Domaine de Montreuil, a producer working within the appellation's traditional methods. Calvados is distilled from cider apples (and sometimes pears) and aged in oak, which gives it depth and a warming structure quite different from the raw intensity of eau-de-vie.
