Domaine Mardon's Quincy Sauvignon Blanc comes from vines of considerable age, the fruit of low-yielding, mature plants that concentrate flavor into smaller harvests. Quincy, a small Loire appellation east of Bourges, is known for producing Sauvignon Blanc with mineral precision and restrained herbaceous character, quite different from the fruit-forward expressions found in Sancerre or Marlborough.
