Premier Cru red Burgundy from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, this comes from the Aux Combottes vineyard, a site that sits alongside the grand cru vines on the northern edge of Morey-Saint-Denis. It is Pinot Noir, as all red Burgundy is, made by Domaine Odoul-Coquard in the 2019 vintage, and Gevrey wines tend toward a firmer, more structured expression of the grape than their neighbors.
