Dominique Gruhier's 2022 Bourgogne Epineuil is a Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy's northern outposts, where cooler conditions and limestone soils produce wines of clarity and restraint. This is a village-level expression, unpretentious and direct.

The wine shows the transparent, bright character typical of young Burgundy Pinot, with red fruit at its core and enough acidity to carry it through food or to be enjoyed on its own. It's meant to be drunk now, when its freshness is most vivid.
