Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin (375ml)

Irish gin infused with gunpowder tea and a blend of Asian botanicals, Drumshanbo Gunpowder comes from the Lough Allen Distillery in County Leitrim. The spirit combines traditional gin botanicals with the distinctive earthiness and subtle astringency of the tea, creating a bridge between Irish distilling and Asian flavor tradition. The result is pot-distilled and bottled at the distillery in the northwest.

Expect a gin that opens with bright juniper but quickly reveals layers of tea leaf, citrus peel, and warming spice from the botanicals. The gunpowder tea adds a mineral, almost smoky undertone that lingers on the finish. It works beautifully in a gin and tonic (the tea character actually plays well with quinine), but also rewards sipping neat or in spirit-forward cocktails where that herbal complexity can breathe.
