Made in the metodo classico style, with the second fermentation carried out in the bottle, this Brut from Geloso draws its character from Pinot Noir, a grape that lends sparkling wine both structure and a subtle red-fruited depth. Bottle fermentation is the same approach used in Champagne, and it tends to give the wine a finer bead and a bit of yeasty complexity alongside its dry finish.
