Gonet-Médeville Ambonnay Champagne La Grande Ruelle Extra Brut Grand Cru 2013 (750ml) *

Ambonnay is one of Champagne's Grand Cru villages, long associated with Pinot Noir, and this single-parcel bottling from Gonet-Médeville, called La Grande Ruelle, draws on that Grand Cru pedigree in the 2013 vintage. Made by the traditional method, with the secondary fermentation that gives Champagne its fine bead, it is finished as an Extra Brut, meaning very little dosage and a leaner, more transparent expression of the fruit and the site.
