Dark rum from Bermuda, Gosling's Black Seal is produced by Gosling Brothers, a family operation that has been making spirits on the island since the 18th century. The rum is aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Madeira wine casks, a technique that gives it its distinctive character and deep color. This is blended rum, not a single-age statement expression, which allows the distillery to maintain consistency across releases.
