Plush and savory, this wine is beginning to show tertiary aromas of dried herbs, flower petals, earth, fresh mint and juicy cherries. Although the fruit is beginning to cede to savory notes, it is still fresh, lively and delicious, with silky tannins. Tasted from a magnum. Drink or hold. (James Suckling, June 2025)
Wonderful aromatic intensity with notes of cassis, cacao and anise that jump out of the glass upon the first sniff. Some rosemary and thyme also show up at the end. With a silky, juice-like texture, black and red fruits explode on the palate upon first sip and softened by Earl Grey tea on the finish. (Decanter, August 2023)
