Islay single malt Scotch whisky aged for sixteen years, Lagavulin is made at a distillery on the southern coast of the Scottish island, where peat smoke from the local landscape shapes the spirit from the start. The barley is heavily peated, lending a signature mineral and smoky character that deepens during long maturation in oak.
