Mont-Redon's Côtes du Rhône Reserve 2023 is a Southern Rhône red blend from one of the region's established producers. This is the Reserve tier, which means additional selection and aging before release. The wine draws on the classic warm-climate generosity of the southern valley, where Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre thrive.
Dark, ripe fruit dominates the glass, with a distinctive succulence running through the middle palate. The tannins are soft and full, lending roundness without harshness, while a thread of berry character persists from the first sip through a satisfying finish. The wine shows concentration and balance despite the lighter nature of the vintage, making it both approachable now and capable of holding its own over the next few years.
