It opens to a beautiful bouquet of bold cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry and violets, with dusty, chalky mineral notes adding definition. The bright primary fruit is especially compelling when the wine is young, and the freshness gives it energy and grace. The wine undergoes 25 days of skin maceration and ages for 24 months in Austrian oak casks.
