Nebbiolo grown in the Mosconi vineyard at Monforte d'Alba, one of the warmer, more structured corners of Barolo, gives this bottling its scale. Parusso works here in a bold, richly extracted style, and the 2021 vintage lends it a clarity that keeps all that weight in focus. This is a full-bodied, traditionally serious Barolo built to reward some patience.
Aromas arrive with a luminous lift: cherry and redcurrant, crushed flowers and rose, spice, with darker tones of blackberry, chocolate, leather, licorice and dried herbs underneath. On the palate it is broad-shouldered and dense, framed by big, potent tannins that pull everything together. There is a slightly stemmy, savory edge to it all. Give it a few years for those tannins to settle and it opens beautifully.

Black cherry, blackberry, chocolate, dried herbs, leather, licorice and lavender are all framed by huge, potent tannins what wrap it all together. This ample, dense Barolo has a ton to offer.
