Peter Michael Winery's Sauvignon Blanc L'Après-Midi comes from Knights Valley in Sonoma County. The 2024 vintage blends Sauvignon Blanc with 6 percent Sémillon and was aged in French oak before bottling in spring 2025.
The wine unfolds with layered aromatics: flint and white peach open into hints of tarragon, lemongrass, and chamomile, with undertones of graham cracker and honey. On the palate it's full-bodied and textured, driven by minerality and citrus fruit that feel both weighty and silky at once. Succulent acidity keeps it balanced and propels a long, perfumed finish. This is a Sauvignon Blanc with real substance and aging potential, not one that drinks itself in a gulp.
