Rainoldi Grumello Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2022 (750ml) *

Grown on the steep terraced slopes of Valtellina in northern Lombardy, this is Nebbiolo in its alpine guise, where the grape goes by the local name Chiavennasca. Rainoldi draws its fruit from the Grumello subzone, one of the named crus within the Valtellina Superiore DOCG, and the 2022 shows the lighter, more perfumed side of Nebbiolo that mountain viticulture tends to produce, with the firm acidity and fine tannin the variety is known for.
