Like its sibling expressions in the Spot family, it's a pot still whiskey, a uniquely Irish style made from a blend of malted and unmalted barley distilled in copper pot stills. The spirit spends its maturation in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which shape its final character.

The result is a whiskey with a rich, layered palate, the sherry influence bringing dried fruit and warming spice notes alongside the pot still's characteristic oiliness and complexity.
