Tannat 'Alcyone' Bodega Pablo Fallabrino NV (500ml)

Uruguay has made Tannat its calling card, and this red comes from Vinedo de los Vientos in Canelones, the coastal-influenced region just north of Montevideo where much of the country's Tannat grows. The grape is naturally dark, tannic, and full-bodied, qualities that have long made it a marker of Uruguayan reds, and this non-vintage bottling ('Alcyone') from Bodega Pablo Fallabrino offers a still, unfortified expression of it.
