Sicily's indigenous white grapes anchor this blend from Tasca d'Almerita's Tenuta Regaleali estate, which leans on Inzolia and Catarratto and rounds them out with Grecanico and a small portion of Chardonnay (added to the recipe in 2012). The 2023 marks the 64th vintage of a wine that has changed little in spirit, a still, dry white built for freshness. It's now closed with a sugar-cane-based stopper that allows a touch of micro-oxygenation.
The bouquet lifts with chamomile, yellow apple and a dusting of confectionery spice, sweetly floral but never heavy. On the palate it turns soft and round, with a core of zesty acidity holding everything in line. Orchard fruits run through the middle while notes of melon, candied lime and a saline, stony streak give it definition. The finish is crisp, long and notably fresh.

2023 is, incredibly, the 64th vintage of this white. It's a blend of Catarratto, Inzolia, Grecanico and – since 2012 – Chardonnay, and offers a fresh sip of melon, herbs and stone fruits, with floral overtones and a zingy and saline finish. Now bottled with Nomacorc Select Green, a sugar cane-based cork that's sustainable, recyclable and allows for micro-oxygenation.
Sweetly floral, the 2023 Bianco Regaleali impresses with its lifted bouquet of chamomile, yellow apples and confectionery spice. It’s soft and round with a core of zesty acidity to balance. Crisp orchard fruits cascade throughout while hints of candied lime and liquid stone resonate. The 2023 finishes remarkably fresh, potent and long. Very nice. The Bianco is a blend of 41% Inzolia, 33% Catarratto, 21% Grecanico and 5% Chardonnay.
