The Cantina Terlano 2013 Alto Adige Terlano Pinot Bianco Rarity will be released in 2026. Very young and fleshed out, it opens to immediate creaminess, breakfast pastry, crème fraîche and soft fruit thanks to sur lie aging in stainless steel. Fruit tones include generous peach and melon, but there are hints of something tropical as well, like a fresh mango. It shows volume, a medium- to full-bodied texture and terrific freshness. Give this bottle five more years of aging before popping the cork. Winemaker Rudi Kofler says 2013 was an excellent vintage that saw a cool spring with good rainfall. The summer season was not too hot, and additional rain came at the right moments. Autumn months were sunny and cool, thus sealing the deal for complexity and freshness. (Wine Advocate, December 2025)
