Alto Adige sits high in Italy's mountainous north, and its cool, alpine conditions give white wines a nervy precision you don't often find further south. There's crunchy pear and green melon here, lime and grapefruit zest, and a distinct green streak of tarragon, mint and tomato leaf that marks the varietal. With a slightly restyled front label, the Cantina Terlano 2024 Alto Adige Terlano Sauvignon Winkl is very true to the grape with lots of zesty tropical fruit, citrus and the green essence found on young tomato leaves.
