Toques et Clochers Cremant de Limoux NV (750ml)

Sparkling wine from Limoux, in the Languedoc of southern France, made by the traditional method with its second fermentation in the bottle. This Crémant from Sieur d'Arques is a white blend drawn from the grapes typical of the appellation, where Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc usually meet a measure of Mauzac, the local variety that gives the region's bubbles their orchard-fruit lift. The result is a dry, fine-beaded sparkler in the classic mold, the kind of cool-climate fizz the high vineyards around Limoux have long been known for.
