VinousThe 2023 Zinfandel Rattlesnake Ridge is packed with macerated dark cherry, leather, tobacco, lavender, licorice and plum. A wine of substantial seriousness, the 2023 is a big, burly wine. Even so, it exudes balance and class. Zinfandel on Howell Mountain can be so distinctive, as it is here. (Vinous)
