A pink wine made from a grape most people know as a big, dark red, this is Turley's take on White Zinfandel, the pale, easygoing style that earned Zinfandel a second life in California. The 2023 draws on old head-trained vines in Lodi, some around sixty years of age, and the result sits a shade deeper than most rosé, closer to salmon than blush.
It opens generously for the style, with preserved stone fruit and tropical notes, grilled yellow peach and guava, lifted by a whisper of dried herbs and flowers. The palate is light and direct, ripe fruit carried on a gently textural frame, finishing short but clean with a touch of spice. Easy, refreshing, and best enjoyed young.

The 2023 White Zinfandel is as expressive as one could expect for the style, sourced from 60-year-old head-trained vines in Lodi. It is medium to deep salmon-pink in color, bursting from the glass with preserved stone fruit and tropical fruit aromas that include grilled yellow peaches, guava and touches of dried herbs and flowers. The palate is light-bodied and straightforward, with gently textural ripe fruit flavors that transition to a short but refreshing, spice-tinged finish.
