Buffalo Trace Distillery's wheated bourbon takes its name from an old abbreviation, C.Y.P.B. stands for "Cream of Bourbon", and represents a softer, rounder approach to the category. Where most bourbons rely on rye to spice their grain bills, this expression swaps in wheat, which mellows the spirit and pushes the oak and caramel notes forward. It's aged in new charred oak barrels, as bourbon law requires, and bottled at standard proof.

The wheated mashbill shows as a gentler, more approachable bourbon with vanilla and oak leading the way, backed by subtle grain sweetness and warm spice.
