Zestos Malvar Vinos de Madrid 2023 (750ml)

Malvar is a white grape rarely seen outside central Spain, grown in the vineyards around the capital and bottled here under the Vinos de Madrid appellation by Compania de Vinos del Atlantico. This is a still, dry white, offered without a vintage year, the kind of local variety that gives you a taste of a region most drinkers know only for its reds.

Expect a straightforward, easygoing white in the Madrid mold, meant to be poured young rather than cellared. A good introduction to a grape you are unlikely to find on many other shelves.
